Post-Graduate Program In Medical Physics

The postgraduate program in Medical Physics was initiated in 1988 and has been the first program in Greece officially offering a Master’s degree (1993). It has recently been revised with respect to both its curriculum structure and  to its operational aspects, towards the following two goals:

• to meet international Medical Physics studies accreditation specifications
• to cover the emerging occupational challenges for Medical Physicists working in Hospital Information Systems (HIS) environments

Important dates for the Academic Year 2011-2012:

• Applications deadline: September 20^th, 2011

Applications should include a Curriculum Vitae and be sent to: "Registrar, School of Medicine, University of Patras, GR-265 04, Rion, Greece"

• Applicants' interview: Wednesday, September 28^th, 2011

The interview will take place at the Department of Medical Physics, at the second floor of the School of Medicine building (next to the University Hospital). The interview procedure will commence at 10:00. Depending on the number of applicants, it might be concluded in two days.
