The concept of information management, difference between data, information and knowledge, the role of the Medical Physicist in the modern Hospital environment, interdisciplinarity of approaches, main types of clinical decisions, medical decision support methodologies and applications.

 

Objectives

To provide awareness of the Medical Physicist's role in the new interdisciplinary environment of Hospital decision-making groups of experts and expose the main methods and tools for decision support. Additionally, to present current applications and research possibilities in the field.
