Objectives

To provide basic knowledge of Medical Informatics and contribute to the integration part of the Course, necessary for the often diverse background of MP students.

Introduction (What DSP is, DSP advantages and applications), Discrete Fourier Transform, Fast Fourier Transform, Z-transforms, FIR filter design, IIR filter design

Objectives

To expose MP students to the necessity of Digital Signal Processing of biomedical signals, provide them with the necessary theoretical background and provide hands-on experience of DSP using MATLAB.
